Ethel M.

Always cool and calm, Ethel radiates genuine happiness and kindness that is contagious to those around her. One seven siblings and with five lovely kids of her own, Ethel’s extended family makes for a sizable contribution to Iowa’s fine population.

Despite her busy life, Ethel stays true to her long-term goal of becoming a medical doctor. She was clear that Massage Therapy was a must to be integrated along the way assuring a holistic approach.

Ethel runs a successful massage practice since more than a decade, goes to college, and teaches at Body Wisdom. Her massage specialties include Myofascial and other Deep Tissue techniques as well as Orthopedic Massage. She is also actively involved with her sons’ athletic pursuits and often assists their performance with her hands-on skills.

Ethel utilizes her creativity, problem solving skills, attention to detail, and knowledge in order to serve her clients and students in achieving optimal results. She says she never wants to stop learning herself.

She admires Gandhi and marvels at his unshakable calm and depth of belief. Her favorite quite by him has become her motto for life: “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”

Teaching comes quite naturally to Ethel and students take extremely well to her smooth and systematic approach, helping them to comprehend and adopt new skills effectively, easily, and swiftly.

Ethel is an avid reader. She also enjoys spending time with her family or outside in nature.
