Sarah Hybels

A great lover of live music, animals, travels, and fresh mountain air, with a big heart for people, Sarah Hybels holds a degree in Sociology and Women’s Study from the University in Denver. As a Victim Advocate she served crime victims, women, and children affected by domestic violence. Her knowledge about health and natural living grew working at the Iowa Acupuncture Clinic, and alongside her massage therapy, and yoga teacher trainings, let alone self study in the decade plus since.

After growing up in West Des Moines, Sarah moved to Colorado at age 18, spending five summers working at a Colorado Dude Ranch in the mountains, where she met and married her husband. Sarah is devoted to her family and the couple returned to Iowa prior to having their two active boys.

Besides teaching Sound Infused Massage Therapies and Maternity & Infant Massage at Body Wisdom, Sarah leads yoga classes, wellness workshops, and practices massage at her own business: Wildflower Massage & Yoga. She loves to instill the importance of truth, balance, and inner peace for body & mind with her children, clients, and students alike as she creates nurturing and safe spaces for others to heal and “Learn the Unforced Rhythms of Grace”.

“The relationship between Yin vs. Yang has been a significant life lesson for me. I have discovered life is a balancing act and I achieve balance in the moments when I take time for self-care, laughter, and creativity”, she says.

Sarah loves to broaden her horizons by exploring other cultures and simple living. She was able to visit New Zealand, study in Australia, hike part of the Camino de Santiago in Spain, and looks forward to traveling Italy and one day India.
