Foot Reflexology (48 hours)

Foot Reflexology is the healing art of touching so called reflex points on the feet that correspond directly with the organs, glands and other systems in the body. These reflex points communicate functional messages, causing deep relaxation, detoxification, pain relief, stimulation of all body systems, including the immune, musculoskeletal and circulatory system, and facilitate an overall balance and well being.

Students will learn to understand the correlation and interaction between reflex points and all organs, glands and systems in the body. A strong emphasis is placed on recognizing and locating the reflex points on the feet, and presenting skills and guidelines to effectively stimulate these points. You will learn to take the client’s medical history and include the information into your reflexology treatment. The giving and receiving of all treatments will help you to deepen the learning experience, and to retain the information for your later practice.

Reflexology can be practiced as a stand-alone modality, or integrated into any other bodywork technique or sequence.

Today’s market has a high demand for this modality, as it proves beneficial in any setting, for every population, and at any age and stage of life.
