Medical Device Assemblers Job Description Join a dynamic team as a 1st or 2nd Shift Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in assembling and testing medical devices. This position involves contract-to-hire opportunities, with a flexible timeframe for potential permanency. You will be working primarily during weekdays and may be required to work Saturdays as needed. The 1st Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm (needs to be open to working 5:00am-3:30pm) The 2nd shift starts at either 3:30 pm or 3:45 pm. Responsibilities Understand and follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures. Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System. Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Project Engineer/Supervisor. Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Experience with microscope for at least 1 year. Small part assembly experience. Strong communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Min 6 months high volume small part assembly with microscope. Ability to work with microscope 90% of shift. Able to work with small parts, primarily catheters. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Medical device assembly experience. Experience in a cleanroom environment. Proficiency in using hand tools, measuring tools, calipers, and micrometers.
