Prana Tree's Artificial Intelligence Innovation Lab conducts applied AI research to develop frontier innovations for our clients. The AI Research Scientist will lead high-impact research on complex AI-related problems, contribute to thought leadership, and publish research in top AI journals and conferences.

• Design, develop, and execute high-impact AI research projects.
• Conduct background literature reviews and frame problems mathematically.
• Define and lead technical research projects within the department.
• Own research activities related to the assigned research agenda.
• Contribute to thought leadership through research publications.
• Prepare abstracts and articles for AI and industry-specific journals.
• Present research at leading AI conferences.
• Collaborate with research and product teams.

• PhD in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or related field , plus 2-4 years of post-PhD experience.
• In lieu of a PhD, 5-8 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong track record of AI research and publications in areas like NLP, Computer Vision, and Reinforcement Learning .
• Proficiency in Python for AI research.
• Experience in AI applications in healthcare, transportation, high-tech, or insurance is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
