LVI currently have an opportunity on offer for a Building and Roofing Inspector to join a great client in Miami on a full-time basis. This firm is a Nationwide development provider, offering a range of services including planning, inspections, reviews, and much more. In terms of the position itself, we are currently seeking an experienced Building and Roofing Inspector to join the team in Miami. You will be given the chance to work on a wide variety of projects, with full autonomy and creative control over project completion. The team you will join has an array of resources and networks to facilitate an exciting and challenging experience as an employee. Key Responsibilities: Carry out roof inspections / other types of inspections related to residential buildings. Document your findings, report issues, & maintain records. Work with building owners / clients to ensure customer satisfaction. Requirements: Strong knowledge of local building codes and procedures. Ability to provide code compliant solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good time management, organization, and attention to detail skills. Ability to effectively work with other team members, the general public, contractors, and others. Florida Standard Inspector License in Building required. Florida Standard Roofing Inspector License required. Florida Certified General Contractor License required. Florida Standard Plan Review License in Building preferred but not required.
