Salary:

OVERALL FUNCTION

With guidance from the recruiting leadership team, this role is responsible for the Raleigh office’s campus recruitment and selection efforts. This role will execute office recruiting plans to reach selection process activity and internship hiring goals, as well as conversion goals. Duties may include, but are not limited to:

SOURCING

• Build and develop effective referral sources both in office and on campus
• Actively engage on campus via clubs, organizations, etc. to promote and brand Northwestern Mutual
• Determine, schedule, and coordinate on campus recruiting events
• Develop relationships with other Northwestern Mutual recruiters to share leads and best practices
• Prepare and maintain recruiting and marketing materials
• Coordinate advertising and marketing strategies on campus including the career services website and online job postings

SELECTION

• Screen candidates, conduct initial interviews, administer selection tools
• Guide candidates through the selection and onboarding processes

ACCOUNTABILITY/TRACKING/ANALYSIS

• Track and report weekly campus recruiting activity to leadership team
• Develop proficiency and use of selection software to maintain candidate records to ensure efficiency of the selection process
• Assist in the coordination of leadership team meetings and the preparation of activity reports
• Analyze recruiting ratios to identify inefficiencies in selection process; establish and implement improvements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree required
• One-two years of recruiting experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work professionally with people of all levels
• Strong personal network and/or community involvement
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Strong organizational and time management
