We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with knowledge and experience in a wide range of skills to join our Construction & Renovation team as a working site Super.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with project managers in the scheduling and coordination of work and subcontractors.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with all applicable health & safety regulations.
• Follow established procedures for health & safety and/or construction emergencies.
• Working knowledge of shop power tools, operation, safety, and uses.
• Framing and finish carpentry experience.
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Other job requirements that may be applicable include the installation of windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, hardware, insulation, drywall, painting, millwork, cabinet install, flooring tile & hardwood etc.
• May be required to perform general labour requirements if required.
• communicating site progress &/or challenges to the management team in order to advance the project as needed
• Qualifications:
• A minimum of 10-years related residential construction-based experience.
• Must be proficient at all types of residential renovation projects including additions, entire home renovations, kitchens, bathrooms and basements.
• Must possess superior carpentry skills which are required for all types of home renovation projects.
• A working knowledge of all trades associated with residential construction.
• A demonstrated ability to understand simple plumbing, heating and electrical work.
• An understanding of the Ontario Building Code as it applies to residential construction, particularly Part 9.
• A demonstrated ability to read, understand and communicate through residential construction design drawing.
• Knowledge and understanding of construction scheduling.
• A proven ability to manage people, trades and customer relationships.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work alone.
• Well organized and clean.
• Cost and quality conscious.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and tools.
• Must have basic personal protective safety equipment.
• · Must have own transportation.
