The Gorge Amphitheater seeks a CCTV Operator & Drone pilot responsible for operating safety drone fleet, resource allocation, and communication during emergency incidents. Primary duties include monitoring and operating various video screens, operating flights of safety drones within FAA rules and exceptions, and collaborating with venue and emergency personnel. The role requires efficient communication, technology utilization, and critical information gathering for effective emergency response. Responsibilities include working with venue management to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, addressing medical, security, or law enforcement issues, monitoring venue CCTV during events to ensure safety, maintaining logs of incidents observed on CCTV or drone flights, investigating and resolving complaints via CCTV, monitoring venue activity and informing department heads of potential deployment changes, observing visitors, patrons, and employees via CCTV to preserve order and protect property, operating professional surveillance drones and monitoring drone cameras during events, holding or completing FAA Part 107 certification, communicating pertinent information at pre-show meetings, working with diverse co-workers, receiving emergency and non-emergency calls, prioritizing radio calls, and working part-time with evening and weekend availability. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, at least 2 years of experience in a similar role preferred, strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, experience with CCTV software preferred, acute judgment, tact and diplomacy, teamwork ability, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot Certification or willingness to complete it.
