Job Description

Job Role : COE (Center of Excellence) Manager

Location : Plymouth, MN

Contract 2 Hire

Initial 2 months remote and then Hybrid/ Onsite in MN

Required:

Technical Team Management

  • Must have proven experience with all operational and delivery management aspects of running a 20+ person organization.
  • Managing stakeholders, team members, and cross-functional members is critical.
  • Deep experience achieving operational excellence (efficiency and planning) and creating high-performing teams (performance management).
  • This IS NOT a project management role. The COE manager is responsible and accountable for the operations of project teams, support teams, etc.
  • Must have experience managing and prioritizing multiple workstreams with multiple funding sources.

Salesforce and Healthcare

  • Must have experience managing Salesforce teams
  • Experience in related healthcare and health insurance fields is a key factor to success. Must be able to speak and listen to the business groups in their own language (payers, patients, providers, claims, etc.,)
  • Must have experience managing teams working through a complete SDLC (technical manager that understands how to deliver technical solutions)

Business Development:

  • Experience leading and facilitating Intake and Discovery sessions with business groups to build a pipeline of Salesforce projects
  • Proven ability to drive and forecast pipeline of work in short-, mid-, and long-term contexts.

Performance Management

  • Must have proven work experience leading and managing a high-performance team and taking corrective action when necessary
  • This includes onboarding and offboarding of staff, regular staff management, performance improvement, morale management, etc.

Executive and Strategic Communication

  • Must be able to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders and technical, non-Salesforce, staff
  • Must be able negotiate and drive stakeholders through an effective decision-making process while building buy-in and consensus
  • Must have a passion for writing concise and impactful documentation

Proactive and Collaborative Leadership

  • Must have a proven methodology for team collaboration
  • Candidate will be one leader on a leadership team overseeing the Center of Excellence
  • Ability to influence, lead, own, and hold themselves and others accountable is very important. Candidates need to be able to discern when they need to drive and when they need to delegate.
  • Must easily build trust with team members and stakeholders.

Agile methodology

  • Must have experience estimating work in an Agile methodology
  • Must have familiarity with the standard Agile ceremonies

Qualification:

  • Extreme levels of attention-to-detail, organization, and time-management are a must.
  • Highly motivated, self-starters capable of working independently and within a larger team.
  • Willing and able to wear multiple hats to ensure a “get work done” attitude throughout the Center of Excellence.
