About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial & Administrative Officer (CFAO) to play a pivotal role in the strategic and operational planning of the organization. The CFAO will be responsible for all financial matters, leading a diverse team that includes global finance and accounting, grants and contracts administration, treasury, logistics and procurement, information technology, and facilities & office administration. This executive leadership position demands a candidate with a strong background in finance, accounting, and senior management, preferably in the humanitarian sector. The successful candidate will be a true business partner to the CEO, engaging with the board finance committees, and ensuring the organization's financial health and compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Applicants for the CFAO position at the company must possess an open heart, open mind, and a strong sense of curiosity, trust, and responsibility. The role requires a leader with a passion for humanitarian causes, the ability to motivate staff, and excellent organizational and management skills. A Master's degree in finance or a related field, a CPA, and at least 15 years of relevant experience are essential. The CFAO will also be involved in grants administration, treasury functions, and overseeing information technology and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in complex, high-stress environments, and the ability to lead and manage effectively, both domestically and internationally.
