Client: Chemical Manufacturing

Position: Senior Civil / Structural Engineer

Duration: 12 months Contract + High possibility of extension

Location: Houston, TX 77024

Highest Level of Education Required for this Position:

• Minimum Bachelor's of Civil Engineering

Required:

• Needs someone who has plant drainage experience but also understands structures as well.

Qualifications:

• PE License in Civil Engineering and Ability to obtain more licenses.
• The Senior Civil-Structural Engineer/Designer should have at least ten years of design engineering experience in an EPC setting.
• Responsibilities are varied and include preparing and providing estimates, scope of work documents, technical reviews, analysis, and design, and input for Proposal/Geotechnical Investigation, Engineering, Bid and Construction phases.
• As well, assist project and engineering teams in developing and implementing site-specific civil-structural design methodology, estimates, and scope of works with budget and schedule in mind.
• Emphasis is on Civil Design & Experience for Hydraulic and Hydrological design of industrial plants in the Gulf Coast and other regions across the US.
• Verify inputs received from internal and external design team members and vendors by highlighting apparent inconsistencies, errors and omissions.
• Current TX Professional Engineering License.
• Hydrological Design of Stormwater and Effluent Systems for Industrial Plants, including hydraulic structures and conveyances.
