Clinical Research Coordinator I

Location: Tomball, TX or Conroe, TX

Pay Rate: $35/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Dean's Professional Services is hiring an entry-level Clinical Research Coordinator I to join a growing research team in Tomball or Conroe, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with physicians, sponsors, and patients while learning the fundamentals of clinical research in a respected healthcare environment.

Position Overview

The Clinical Research Coordinator I supports multiple research studies by coordinating daily operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining accurate documentation. Under direct supervision, you will gain valuable experience in human subject research and build the foundation for a long-term career in clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities for multiple research studies from start-up to closeout.

• Serve as a liaison between investigators, sponsors, and clinical teams to ensure smooth study operations.

• Schedule and track study assessments, visits, and required documentation.

• Review study criteria with physicians and patients, ensuring informed consent is properly obtained.

• Maintain accurate data and source documentation to meet regulatory and sponsor requirements.

• Monitor for protocol deviations, adverse events, and report findings promptly.

• Prepare and manage study supplies, shipments, and case report forms.

• Attend investigator meetings, training sessions, and study-related conference calls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; a healthcare or science-related field is preferred.

• At least 1 year of clinical research or related healthcare experience required.

• Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) certification preferred.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication and time management skills.

• Basic understanding of medical terminology and clinical research regulations (ICH/GCP).

• Ability to perform or learn basic clinical trial procedures such as ECG acquisition, phlebotomy, and specimen handling.

• Occasional local travel may be required.
