The Early Childhood Development and Education Center at Kennedy Krieger Institute is looking for a dedicated Social Worker to join our team!   We offer a unique opportunity for Clinical Social Workers to gain specialized training in a variety of attachment-based and trauma-informed interventions. We provide a nurturing environment that fosters growth, learning, and social-emotional development. We also offer rich professional development opportunities and funding to pursue these.          Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive mental health services to children and their families as needed or indicated. Train and provide reflective practice and implement a wide variety of evidence-based care and mental health strategies. Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and offer counseling. Facilitate access to community resources and support services. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care. Advocate for children's well-being and educational needs. Qualifications: Must possess and maintain a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) license issued by the Maryland State Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Board of Social Work Examiners. Must possess and maintain cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification. EDUCATION: ~ Master's degree from an accredited school of Social Work required. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of four years of licensed clinical experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults required Minimum one year in the provision of services to children with developmental disabilities, chronic health problems, of disorders of the brain preferred. One year of pediatric and or family therapy experience preferred Minimum pay range: USD $74,980.00/Yr. Maximum pay range: USD $97,597.00/Yr.
