Summary Under close supervision, the Cloud Engineer I assists Motion's infrastructure, digital, and applications teams in developing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions. This role involves deploying and debugging cloud stacks, educating teams on new cloud initiatives, and ensuring the security of the cloud infrastructure. The Cloud Engineer helps identify the most effective cloud solutions and has in-depth experience with data management and access from cloud-based solutions. Job Duties Provides support in managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure services for clients. Assists senior team members in interfacing between clients and systems. Supports application and product teams in implementing cloud services and resources. Analyzes production system operations using monitoring, capacity analysis, and root cause analysis to improve system stability and performance. Performs other duties as assigned. Education & Experience Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of related experience or equivalent. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Exposure to AWS, Google Cloud Platform, VMWare Cloud, and Azure. Experience in analytical thinking and coding. Strong problem-solving foundation. Familiarity with cloud architecture including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. Physical Demands None required licenses or certifications.
