After being assigned to a job, you will be paid the following Friday for the hours you worked the previous week. If you work continuously for a period of time, you will be paid every Friday. You have two options on how to get paid: direct deposit into your own bank account or the Visa PayCard option – it’s your choice. Apartment Maintenance Technician – General Labor Pay Rate: $15/HR Experience: General understanding of basic maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry. Familiarity with using common hand and power tools. Job Description: Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the property. Duties include picking up grounds and trash, removing items from vacant apartments, moving furniture, performing minor maintenance tasks to prepare apartments for new tenants (e.g., changing light bulbs, fixtures, blinds, air filters). Handle light plumbing repairs, tighten towel bars and toilet seats, install shower rods, replace drip pans and burners, and perform general caulking. Inspect units for damages and ensure properties are move‑in ready; occasionally clean buildings and units as needed. Requirements: Ability to push, lift, pull, and carry up to 75 pounds. Hand and finger dexterity. Ability to bend, stop, and crawl. Ability to walk and climb stairs. High school diploma or equivalent required. Project Duration: Seasonal CNC Gerber Cutter/Router Operator – Textile Pay Rate: $14/HR Experience: Must have previous experience operating Gerber or similar CNC cutting/router machines. Knowledge of fabric/textile handling and cutting processes. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills. Job Description: Set up, program, and operate Gerber automated cutting equipment to cut fabrics. Apply basic arithmetic in daily tasks, interpret work orders, CAD patterns, and technical drawings to ensure accurate cutting layouts. Requirements: Ability to use basic arithmetic, interpret technical drawings, and produce accurate cutting layouts. Project Duration: Temp to Perm Flagger – Construction Location: Eastern North Carolina Pay Rate: $14/HR Job Description: Direct and control traffic flow at construction sites or roadwork areas to ensure the safety of workers and motorists. Sites may be located across Eastern NC, with different individuals assigned to various locations. Requirements: Must hold a valid flagger certificate. Project Duration: Temporary Concrete Laborer – Construction Location: Eastern North Carolina Pay Rate: $16–$20/hr Job Description: Reliable concrete laborer handling concrete pours, forms, moving materials, and site cleanup. Work outdoors in all weather conditions. Requirements: Concretes experience preferred but not required; ability to lift 50 lbs. and work on your feet all day; reliable transportation; strong work ethic. Construction Clean‑Up Laborer – Construction Location: Eastern North Carolina Pay Rate: $14–$18/hr Job Description: Perform general cleaning duties on construction sites to maintain a safe, organized, and debris‑free environment. Assist with removal of hazardous materials, sweeping, and waste disposal to meet safety standards. Requirements: Attention to detail, physical stamina, ability to follow safety procedures. Diesel Mechanic – Automotive / Manufacturing Location: New Bern, NC Pay Rate: $20–$25/hr BOE Experience: 1+ years diesel mechanic experience needed. Job Description: Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment, light trucks, and GM vehicles. Perform routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and replace worn or damaged parts. Furniture Cost Estimator – Manufacturing Experience: 1+ years in cost estimation or quoting, preferably in furniture manufacturing. Strong knowledge of materials, labor, and overhead costs. Proficient with Microsoft Excel and quoting/ERP software. Job Description: Prepare detailed, accurate, and competitive cost estimates for custom and standard furniture projects. Work cross‑functionally with sales, engineering, design, production, and purchasing to align quotes with company goals, manufacturing capabilities, and customer expectations. General Facility Maintenance – Maintenance Location: Eastern North Carolina Pay Rate: $16–$18/hr Job Description: Ensure cleanliness, yard maintenance, inventory management of maintenance supplies, routine inspections, and minor repairs to buildings and equipment to keep the facility operating efficiently and safely. Requirements: Some previous maintenance experience preferred. General Laborer – Commercial Construction Location: Eastern NC (all counties east of I‑95) Pay Rate: $12–$16/hr Experience: Knowledge of OSHA regulations, basic hand/power tools. Job Description: Physical labor involving job‑site cleanup, material handling, heavy lifting, basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, flooring installation, ladder climbing, digging, shoveling, and mortar chipping. Versatility and strong work ethic required. Requirements: Reliable transportation, background check, drug screen, job references, E‑verify, valid state ID. HVAC Helper – HVAC Pay Rate: $12–$14/hr Experience: Some knowledge of HVAC. Job Description: Assist HVAC technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Entry‑level position offering hands‑on experience. Requirements: Must pass background check and drug screen; comfortable working in confined spaces; willing to perform physically demanding tasks. Heavy Equipment Operator – Construction Location: Aurora, NC Pay Rate: BOE Experience: Prior experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Job Description: Safely operate machinery (bulldozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes) for digging, grading, and material handling. Knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance. Requirements: Must pass criminal background check and pre‑employment drug screening. Industrial Carpenter – Construction Location: Greenville, NC Pay Rate: $23–$26/hr Experience: Hands‑on work with concrete, drywall, framing, and scaffolding; safe use of power and hand tools; experience reading and interpreting blueprints/drawings. Job Description: Skilled industrial carpenter responsible for safety practices and detailed workmanship in an industrial environment. Maintenance Technician – Construction Pay Rate: $16/hr Experience: Must have plumbing, electrical, and painting experience. Job Description: General maintenance work orders for multiple properties. Must have valid driver’s license and own tools. Off‑Road Haul Truck Driver – Transportation Location: Aurora, North Carolina Pay Rate: $16.00/hr Experience: Entry level – training provided. Job Description: Read and follow operating instructions; perform duties efficiently in all weather conditions. Motivated, quick learner willing to work full‑time with rotating shifts of 12 hours (6 days on, 3 days off). Requirements: Must pass DEPS background check and pre‑employment drug screen. Pipe Welder – Automotive / Manufacturing Pay Rate: $30–$40/hr Experience: Experience welding pipes using manual and orbital welding techniques. Certification in TIG/MIG and orbital welding preferred. Ability to work in industrial environments, including confined spaces and elevated areas. Job Description: Perform pipe welding using orbital welding equipment and manual welding techniques. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications to determine job requirements. Production Ticket Printer – Manufacturing Pay Rate: Temp to Perm. Experience: Prior manufacturing and/or furniture/ upholstery production experience preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of ERP/MRP or production software. Job Description: Prepare, print, and distribute work tickets for all departments in upholstered seating production. Ensure continuous workflow, proper material use, and on‑time order completion. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; strong attention to detail and accuracy. Server – Event Services / Catering Pay Rate: $13/hr Experience: Serving or customer service preferred. Job Description: Provide excellent service during banquets, meetings, and special events. Flexible, fast‑paced environment; maintain high service standards. Requirements: No PPE needed. Shuttle Driver / Traffic Controller – Transportation Location: ILM Airport Pay Rate: Temp to Perm. Job Description: Direct traffic and drive a shuttle bus as needed. Guide guests to parking areas according to their needs. Requirements: Current valid NC driver’s license; must pass background check (no felonies) and drug screening. Restoration Technicians – Restoration Pay Rate: $17/hr Experience: Must lift and carry loads of 25–50+ lbs, be proficient with technology and computers, and have relevant experience in construction and restoration settings. Job Description: Respond to water damage emergencies using specialized equipment to extract water, dry affected areas, and prevent mold growth. Follow restoration procedures and safety standards to restore properties to pre‑damage condition. Requirements: Must pass background check and drug screen; valid driver’s license required.
