Controller

Responsible for managing all accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance activities. This role will play a critical part in strategic financial planning, maintaining internal controls, and leading a small finance team to support the operational needs of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll inputs.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes; provide variance analysis and recommendations to management.
• Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage cash flow, monitor working capital, and support treasury functions.
• Maintain strong internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
• Support operational teams with financial data to improve cost efficiency and decision-making.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification required).
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or managerial finance role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
• Experience with accounting software and advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
