Data Analyst/ Statistician - Washington DC

Job Description

Advantage SCI is accepting applications to support a federal agency personnel security program. The position is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating the effectiveness of government operations or the productivity and efficiency of these programs.
• Applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques for assessing program development or execution to improve organizational effectiveness.
• Analyzing data and data mining.
• Developing presentations, tables, and reports.
• Analyzing raw data from agency information systems to determine the impact and status of specific programs.
• Occasional travel within the US may be required.

Qualifications

• High-Risk Public Trust security clearance (current Tier 4 investigation required).
• Bachelors degree.
• 5 years experience in data analysis, preferably related to personnel security.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and data collection.
• Thorough knowledge and application in analyzing data to develop tables, data mine, and create reports for Senior Leadership.

Working Conditions

• Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
• Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach.
• Able to sit, stand, walk, run.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
