We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Shelton, Connecticut. In this role, you will handle the scanning and entry of information into digital systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the process. This position is ideal for candidates who are comfortable working independently and possess strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
• Unpack and organize books and materials for scanning and data entry.
• Operate scanning equipment to convert physical documents into digital formats.
• Accurately input data into spreadsheets and databases using Microsoft Excel.
• Verify and cross-check data entries to maintain accuracy.
• Maintain organized records and files of scanned and entered data.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding data discrepancies or issues.
• Follow established procedures to meet deadlines and project requirements.
• Ensure data security and confidentiality during handling and storage.
• Report progress and any challenges to supervisors on a regular basis.• Proficiency in data entry with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel for data organization and analysis.
• Familiarity with document scanning equipment and processes.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication skills to resolve data-related inquiries or issues.
• Basic computer literacy and comfort with digital systems.
• No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
