Salary: $16.50 - $19.00

Role Description:

Responsible for delivering automotive parts and supplies to various customers using a company provided vehicle, as well as completing pick up runs from warehouses.

Responsibilities:

• Loading, transporting and delivering automotive parts and products to clients or vendors in a clean, safe, timely manner.
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete and accurate.
• Engage with and understand customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication.
• Meet company operating policies and standards, including providing best-in-class customer service.
• Safely operate your company-owned delivery vehicle.
• Use a handheld device for routing information and GPS, customer delivery information, and automotive part information.
• Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.
• Pick up customer returns and follow the return process outlined by My Guy Auto Supply.
• Ensure all packages assigned are properly delivered. Report all customer comments, by making appropriate and required notation on delivery tickets, as well as following payment procedures.
• Take direction from dispatcher and work together as a team.
• Ensure company vehicle is fueled daily.
• Must be dependable, reliable, and honest.

Educational/Experience Requirements

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  

Qualifications

• Clean and valid Driver's License (Required)
• Must be able to deliver packages up to 60 lbs
• Driving: 2 years (Preferred)
• Driving in NY and Long Island: 1 year (Preferred)

Individuals may need to sit for long periods of time while driving. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder height, below the waist, or lifting as required to file documents or stored materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques are required. May include lifting up to 60 pounds for automotive equipment.

Work Environment:

Periodically, the work is performed in a warehouse/ shop setting. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. This positions work environment will include sitting in traffic for long periods of time. Must be able to get in and out of the car and walk up and down stairs through your shift. Position requires driving in various different weather conditions.
