ProLogistix is seeking an immediate Dispatcher for our client in Spokane, WA.


Monday-Friday|7:00am-4:30pm|$19.50/hr


Dispatch Summary: We are seeking a dispatcher to help create trucking routes that keep costs down but meet customers scheduling needs. The dispatcher is the primary interface between the company, customers, sales, and vendors.


Essential Functions:

• Answering phones professionally and timely
• Answering email request professionally and timely.
• Research of shipments for corporate request/reports.
• Research of shipments for accounting request/reports.
• Communicate charges with accounting when outside vendors are used.
• Understand TSA regulations.
• Develop pickup/delivery routes to accommodate the needs of customers.
• Acts as communication liaison between customers, drivers, sales, and facilities.
• Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers.
• Scheduling of residential pickups.
• Able to work overtime and on weekends when needed.
• Other duties assigned.

Job Requirements:


Requirements and Skills:

• Must be able to type accurately at least 35 WPM.
• Intermediate level of Excel and Word.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manager deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of the roadways throughout the surrounding areas.
• Ability to work in a team environment in high pressure situations.
• Bilingual: English and Spanish.
