Overview Expert Institute is seeking a Legal Nurse Consultant to join via WayUp. This role involves real-time intakes with attorney-clients on medical malpractice and personal injury cases, supporting the Expert Search team with information to identify impactful expert witnesses. The position requires review of medical records and summaries and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction. Responsibilities Conduct real-time intakes with attorney-clients on critical medical malpractice and personal injury cases, providing vital information to the Expert Search team for researching and identifying expert witnesses. Review medical records and summaries to support case research and expert selection. Assist Expert Search researchers by reviewing expert feedback on cases and providing insights to determine the optimal expertise fit for medical malpractice and personal injury cases. Deliver exceptional, consultative customer service to attorney-clients during phone and video case intakes, collaborating with customer success, sales, and advisory teams to ensure client satisfaction. Qualifications Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner 1-2+ years of experience with a law firm or experience doing Legal Nurse Consulting (preferred but not required) Strong clinical knowledge — 5+ years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (preferred but not required) Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal Customer-centric and solutions-oriented attitude Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with ambitious performance metrics and goals Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
