Job Description

Our client, a global leader in CMMs is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join the team supporting their clients in install, repair and calibration of CMMs. Looking for candidates that live in the Cincinnati, Dayton or Columbus, OH areas. Contract-to-perm opportunity. 

• 100% travel position performing installation and machine maintenance, which includes assembly, disassembly, leveling, diagnosis, repair , certifications, and re-calibration of CMM machines at customer sites in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Michigan
• You will be the face of the company for the customers and the one to build rapport. You will p rovide the highest customer satisfaction while representing the company in a professional manner 

• To be considered, must have field service experience with heavy travel
• Looking for candidates that live in the Cincinnati, Dayton or Columbus, OH areas
• Must have full availability to travel Mon-Fri week after week (out on Mondays, back home Fridays. So basically, you’ll only be home on weekends.
• Need to have a reliable vehicle to use until a company van is available
• Should have mechanical and electrical experience
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Ability to train in Rhode Island for 2 weeks
• Must be a US Citizen (to visit federal facilities under ITAR regulations) with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
