Field Service Technician II - Fire & Security

As a Field Service Technician II - Fire & Security here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for providing efficient and effective service and support for our fire and security systems. With your expertise in fire and security technology and your NICET certification, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our customers' facilities. You will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of fire and security systems, as well as providing technical support to customers. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to customer satisfaction will be key to your success in this role.
You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you'll work out of our Houston, TX location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the safety and security of our customers' facilities by providing timely and efficient service and support for fire and security systems. You will ensure that our systems are installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards, meeting all regulatory requirements and customer expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fire
• Conduct regular inspections and testing of systems to ensure proper functionality
• Provide technical support to customers, answering their questions and resolving any issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and ensure customer satisfaction
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements

YOU MUST HAVE

• NICET certification in fire alarm systems (or ability to obtain in 90 days)
• TX Fire Alarm Technician License
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire and security systems
• Strong technical knowledge of fire and security systems
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
