Salary: $35 - $45 per hour

All our technicians are licensed in the state of Massachusetts and go through many hours of factory and in house training. We all have security safety clearances issued by the state and we are a UL certified fire alarm service provider. We are also proud members of the NFPA and MSCA.
As systems integrators, We take many different systems and combines them to fill our customer’s needs.

Are you passionate about safety and have a knack for technical work? We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fire Alarm Service / Install Technician to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting construction projects, ensuring the safety and security of all occupants through the installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire alarm service and installation, with a commitment to staying updated on the latest industry standards and technologies.
Responsibilities:
As a Fire Alarm Service / Install Technician, your responsibilities will include:
1. Installing, programming, and servicing fire alarm systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
2. Performing routine inspections and tests on installed fire alarm systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning correctly.
3. Identifying and repairing any issues or malfunctions in fire alarm systems promptly and efficiently.
4. Providing technical support and guidance to clients regarding the operation and maintenance of their fire alarm systems.
5. Maintaining accurate and detailed service and installation records.
6. Keeping up to date with industry developments and advancements in fire alarm technology.
7. Collaborating effectively with other construction professionals, including architects, engineers, and project managers.
8. Ensuring all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all company and industry safety standards.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate for the Fire Alarm Service / Install Technician position must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Fire Technician, with a focus on Fire Alarm Service and Fire Alarm Installation.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of fire alarm systems, including various types, brands, and models.
3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics.
4. Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
5. Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
6. Current knowledge of local, state, and national fire codes and regulations.
7. Certification or training in fire alarm technology is a plus.
8. Physical fitness and the ability to work in various conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
9. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
10. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of fire safety technology.
