Avera St. Mary’s is currently seeking a Flex Nurse - Registered Nurse (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed professional responsible for the delivery of patient care.

The nurse is guided by professional nursing standards.

The RN may direct activities of other nursing department personnel.

All nursing care functions/responsibilities are based on the ANA standards.

Staff is required to perform their duties effectively.

Adheres to the Nursing Code of Ethics, Avera’s Mission and Avera’s Service Excellence Standards.

Education and/or Experience

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Associate’s Degree at minimum.

Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Equivalent Combination of Education and Experience.

3-5 years of experience is required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Current licensure with the State of SD as a Registered Nurse or multi-state licensure

Basic Life Support (BLS) is required for all patient care staff

NRP is required by 1 year of employment in Women’s Center.

S.T.A.B.L.E is required by 2 years of employment in the Women’s Center.

ACLS is recommended but not required.

PALS is recommended but not required.

Work Schedule

Varied shifts as needed; PRN

6:45 am - 7:15pm, 6:45 pm - 7:15 am

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$50.00 flat rate
