Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various flooring installation techniques and a strong understanding of building materials and tools. This role involves working in residential and commercial settings, ensuring that all flooring installations meet quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas according to blueprints or design specifications.
• Install various types of flooring, including tile, hardwood, laminate, and carpet, Tarkett granit vinyl .
• Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively for flooring installation tasks.
• Apply caulking and adhesives as needed for proper installation.
• Ensure surfaces are prepared appropriately before installation, including leveling and cleaning.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on flooring options.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the installation process.
• Perform repairs or adjustments as necessary to ensure the integrity of the flooring.

Requirements

• Proven experience in flooring installation or related carpentry work.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding design specifications.
• Familiarity with hand tools and equipment used in flooring installation.
• Skills in tile laying, caulking, and general maintenance person tasks are preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
