Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Grade Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of food-grade materials, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will play a crucial part in maintaining our high standards of quality and hygiene in the storage and distribution of food products. Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Receive, inspect, and store food-grade materials, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular stock audits to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Order Fulfillment: Prepare and package food-grade materials for distribution, ensuring accuracy in order picking and packing.
- Quality Control: Monitor the condition of materials and report any discrepancies or issues, ensuring all products meet quality standards.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Sanitation Practices: Follow strict sanitation and hygiene practices to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of materials.
The essential functions of this role include:
