Freight Broker

Monday-Friday 7:30am-5pm

Tri-National, Inc., an asset-based carrier, has a new job opportunity in the Brokerage Department at our Headquarters in St. Charles, MO. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and strive for excellence in customer service, TNI would be a great place for you. TNI is looking for individuals who have experience in freight brokerage. We service Mexico, US, and Canada.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Match freight with carriers
• Manage freight from current customers
• Generate new carriers
• Generate new freight opportunities
• Dispatch drivers
• Plan, track and trace freight

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, has excellent organizational skills, and possess the ability to multitask and prioritize
• Familiarity with cold calling
• Must possess good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Possess proficient computer skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook and AS400
• Prior experience in Brokerage/Logistics/Sales industry
• Customer/Carrier following, a plus
