Seeking a precise and thorough individual for the role of Full Charge Bookkeeper at Charles V. Hardenbergh, PC in Petersburg, VA. Responsibilities

•Oversee all financial activities, including managing accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting processes
•Efficiently maintain the chart of accounts structure
•Accurately input journal entries into the system
•Perform daily reconciliations for multiple accounts diligently
•Ensure adherence to GAAP in all bookkeeping procedures and meet deadlines for various financial transactions and reports
•Establish and supervise effective accounting systems, with a specialization in QuickBooks Online

Qualifications

•Must have a strong grasp of charts of accounts, journal entries, reconciliations, and other standard bookkeeping procedures following GAAP guidelines
•Demonstrated history of consistently meeting deadlines and successfully finishing projects
•Possess exceptional attention to detail as a critical attribute
•Approach tasks methodically, emphasizing accuracy and precision right from the start
•Minimum of 5 years of experience required, especially in a law firm or professional services environment
•Full-time presence in the office is mandatory Charles V. Hardenbergh, PC
