Full Charge Bookkeeper Job Description: In this role, you will handle a wide range of accounting duties, including financial statement preparation, regulatory reporting, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance. You will also be responsible for processing payroll and payroll taxes, reconciling accounts, and assisting with daily bookkeeping tasks. The ideal candidate must be proficient in QuickBooks and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
What you will do as the Full Charge Bookkeeper: - Prepare financial statements and assist with regulatory reporting
- Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger
- Process payrolls and payroll taxes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Perform account reconciliations and bookkeeping duties
- On-board new clients and manage multiple client accounts
- Analyze financial statements and ensure all bookkeeping tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Utilize QuickBooks® for daily accounting functions
- Maintain organized records and ensure accuracy in workflow management and timesheet tracking
What you will bring to the Full Charge Bookkeeper role: - High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in Bookkeeping, Accounting, and Payroll
- Tech savvy in QuickBooks and other bookkeeping software
- Strong knowledge of payroll taxes and general accounting principles
- Experience in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience in workflow management and tracking time sheets
