Founded in 1926, Forest Lake Country Club was created on 125 of the most scenic acres in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Overview

As a member of the Outside Operation team, the team member will assist in managing the cart fleet, practice range, bag storage, and bag drops, as well as making sure golfers are assisted before and after rounds. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of member-centric services resulting in an exceptional overall golf experience for Club Members and their guests.

 

Essential Responsibilities

• Maintains professional appearance
• Brings carts from the cart barn in the morning and returns carts to the cart barn at the end of the day
• Cleans and checks carts after each use and restocks as required
• Cleans and maintains cart barn
• Ensures the carts are available for player use at all times
• Works closely with Golf Services Manager to prepare and conduct golf tournaments
• Implements and supports all course policies and programs as communicated by management
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Qualifications

• Ability to work mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to work 40 hours per week
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs
• Ability to work in outside conditions
• Ability for punctuality and early morning shifts
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner

 

Ideal candidate is over 18 with full time availability, although more flexible scheduling could be available. This position would start 3rd week of March and end mid November. This is also a great opportunity for a local college student.
