Akkodis is seeking a Hadoop Developer (Unix Oracle exp.) for a contract with a client in Kennesaw, GA /Chandler, AZ. The ideal candidate supports critical GTS Treasury applications through L3 production support and ETL development using Hadoop and Informatica.

Rate Range: $60/hour to 65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Hadoop Developer (Unix Oracle exp.) job responsibilities include:

• Design and develop big data solutions using Hadoop ecosystem tools to support large-scale data processing.

• Write and optimize Unix shell scripts for data ingestion, transformation, and automation tasks.

• Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL procedures to support data integration and reporting needs.

• Monitor and troubleshoot Hadoop jobs and workflows, ensuring performance and reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.

• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across all stages of the data pipeline.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 9 years of experience in Hadoop development, with strong exposure to Unix and Oracle PL/SQL.

• Proven experience in L3 production support for business-critical applications in a distributed environment.

• Strong hands-on skills in Informatica, Linux scripting, and data pipeline optimization.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
