As a Night Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all areas of the Club are cleaned and in satisfactory condition for the Club to open in the AM for business.
Your responsibilities as a Night Cleaner include:
● Practicing safety first and adhering to emergency guidelines set by the club, state, and Allegheny County.
● Receive work assignment from supervisor and report to designated area.
● Use tools, products and cleaning techniques required of your work area such as, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning of wood furniture, glass, marble surfaces, emptying of trash, etc.
● Assist in the cleaning of dining rooms used for dinner of linen, candles, or other materials, i.e., dishes, silverware, etc. Also must pull chairs from around tables to vacuum under the tables, remove dust and crumbs, and replace chairs.
● Reporting any issues or hazards promptly to supervisors and following established guidelines for Workers Compensation.
Special Qualifications:
● Self-motivation to complete tasks efficiently and work independently.
● Physical strength and capability to stand the entire shift, as well as bend, stoop, climb, reach, lift/move equipment, furniture, trays, etc.
● Excellent coordination, manual dexterity, and ability to work rapidly during busy periods.
● Ability to read labels on chemicals/cleaning products and determine proper use as well as follow written directions.
● Willingness to learn and adhere to club policies and procedures.
● Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with members and colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Previous experience in housekeeping in a similar environment.
● Previous experience working the night shift.
