Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex electrical issues on industrial machinery and systems.
• Perform maintenance and repair of electric motors, control systems, and related electrical components.
• Work with low voltage and voltage controls up to 480 volts.
• Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams to facilitate repairs and installations.
• Execute conduit runs and layout electrical cabinets according to specifications.
• Maintain and repair various production equipment, including furnaces, mold units, sand systems, hydraulic systems, and shot-blasting equipment.
• Safely operate and maintain electric overhead cranes and hoists (electrical components).
• Utilize basic computer skills for work order entry and completion.
• Adhere strictly to all safety procedures, including Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) protocols and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage.

Recommended Qualifications:

• Journeyman Electrician status or a minimum of six years of proven industrial electrical experience.
• Demonstrated experience with low voltage and voltage controls up to 480 volts.
• Solid understanding of PLC controls and the ability to troubleshoot associated hardware.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for complex electrical systems.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to diverse industrial equipment and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Allen Bradley Rockwell Software (RS Logix 5, RS Logix 500, and RS Linx), PLC-5, and SLC500 hardware.
• Knowledge of electronic instrumentation (e.g., Temperature Controllers, Chart Recorders, I/P and P/I Converters, Variable Frequency Drives).
• Ability to obtain forklift, articulating boom lift, and scissor lift licenses (training provided).
• Experience working in a continuous operation manufacturing environment.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent coursework in Electrical Technology.
