Job Description
As a Commercial Painting Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs and providing detailed estimates for commercial painting projects. Reporting to the project manager, your core skills in construction estimating and quantity assessments will be essential in ensuring competitive pricing and accurate takeoffs. Your familiarity with tools like Bluebeam & Planswift will be helpful in daily takeoff work.
This position is a full time, part time on-site position. This position offers on-the job training and career development in the field of Construction Estimation.
A qualified individual should:
Be able to provide complete pricing for project based on photos and/or plans provided.
* Perform complete Takeoff in industry standard software packages
* Assist in any requested pricing updates based on plan changes
Requirements
* Have architectural and/or civil engineering training (Required)
* Experience in commercial painting estimation (Optional)
* Proficiency of computer skills (Required)
* Strong communication skills (Required)
* Strong organizational skills (Required)
* Excellent people skills (Required)
* Reliable and able to work independently
