Job Title: Customer Support Specialist
Office Location: 5400 Glenwood Avenue Suite G-01, Raleigh, NC 27612.
Compensation Rate: $15-$17/per hour
Training Hours: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm (3 weeks of full-time training)
Shift: Full-Time (40 hours a week) one or both weekend days required
Start Date: September 25th 2024
Channels: Live Video Support (over Zoom), Phone support, Email Support
ABOUT THE JOB Are you passionate about pets and technology? Join our dynamic team as a Technical Support Specialist for a cutting-edge GPS-enabled dog collar product line. As a Live Video Chat Support Specialist, you'll be the friendly face behind our live video support system, assisting customers with troubleshooting and inquiries regarding our innovative pet tracking solution. You'll have the chance to showcase your exceptional customer service skills while delving into the technical aspects of our products, ensuring every pet owner receives the assistance they need.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide top-notch customer support via live video, guiding customers through technical troubleshooting processes.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to our GPS-enabled dog collars with efficiency and precision.
- Educate customers on product features, functionality, and best practices to optimize their experience.
- Collaborate closely with our technical team to escalate and resolve complex issues when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and technical solutions for future reference.
Qualifications: - 6 months of technical support or troubleshooting experience preferred (if you are the go-to tech person in your family or friend group , we count that as experience!)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a technical support capacity.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving customer needs.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware and software issues is a plus.
- Comfortable being on camera and providing live video support to customers.
- Must be able to type a minimum of 40 WPM.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
