We are seeking a dynamic, driven Social Media, Marketing, & PR Intern to join our marketing team for Fall 2025 and/or Spring 2026 . This intern will support our efforts in amplifying the Marc Fisher Footwear brands reach through social media content management, media outreach, and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is passionate about fashion, digitally savvy, proficient in social media strategy, skilled in content creation and editing, and eager to learn about brand communication in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This is an unpaid, for credit internship, and will require proof of credit from your university. This internship will report to our Marketing and PR Managers from our NYC midtown showroom and will be required to be in office 2-3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Support:

• Assist in developing, producing, and editing organic photo and video content tailored to each social media platform
• Write copy for social media posts ensuring consistent brand voice and messaging
• Help plan, schedule, and publish content using social media management tools
• Monitor and engage with the online community across social platforms, overseeing day-to-day community interactions and engagement
• Including answering DMs, responding to comments, reposting stories, and engaging with customers, influencers, and topical content
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends and emerging platform features in order to offer brand-right ideas for each account
• Conduct competitor analysis and present findings on wins and areas for opportunities on our channels
• Escalate customer service inquiries to the appropriate team
• Monitor engagement and sentiment on paid ads and respond in a timely, brand-aligned manner

Influencer & PR Outreach: Help identify and engage with influencers and media partners to support brand visibility and growth.

Pr gifting and sample tracking: manage and organize all samples for Celebrity/influencer/shoots and ordering gifting and send outs.

Event and Photoshoot Support: Assist with event planning, photoshoot preparations, and on-site execution for brand activations/events, shoots, and media previews.

• Attend photo shoots to capture organic and BTS content

Market Research: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and social media trends to keep our content fresh and relevant. Provide insights that help guide our content and campaign strategy.

Analytics & Reporting: Assist in tracking social media and PR metrics, compiling data for reporting, and helping to identify key insights to optimize future campaigns.

Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to maintain Marc Fisher Footwear’s brand voice.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic understanding of social media metrics.
• Proficient in social media video editing tools.
• Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and social media scheduling platforms is a plus.
• Passionate about fashion, branding, and creating impactful content.
• Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute creative ideas to support the team.
