Job Description

Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician Location: Cranberry Township, PA Type: Contract To Hire Compensation: $21-22 hourly Contractor Work Model: Onsite Mechanical Assembly Technician Objective Build and assemble automated manufacturing equipment and production line systems. Support field installations at customer facilities as needed. Responsibilities Assemble machinery following technical blueprints and component lists Source parts and materials from inventory locations Assemble small-diameter piping, tubing, hydraulic lines, and fittings Assemble and mount pumps, valves, instruments, and pneumatic components Operate forklifts to position heavy equipment Drill, tap, and secure components to machine frames Assemble piping systems and wire management structures Prepare equipment for shipping using wooden bracing and supports Maintain compliance with workplace safety standards Perform on-site installations when required Work with precision tools including wrenches up to 2" and pipe wrenches up to 36" Requirements High School diploma or GED 1-2yrs Assembly experience Competency with hand and power tools Ability to interpret technical drawings and perform dimensional calculations Extended periods of standing, walking, and physical activity Comfortable working at various heights using ladders and lifts Occasional work in confined spaces or elevated positions Fine motor skills for precision assembly work Tolerance for industrial noise levels System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
