Job Title: Medication Technician Location: Legacy Oaks of Sacramento Assisted Living and Memory Care, Sacramento, CA Position Summary: Legacy Oaks of Sacramento is looking for a compassionate Medication Technician to ensure the safe delivery of medications and provide high-quality care to our residents. This role includes medication management, assisting with daily activities, and supervising caregiving staff. Key Responsibilities: Administer and document medications and treatments as prescribed. Assist residents with daily activities, vital signs, wound care, and communication with healthcare providers. Ensure cleanliness, safety, and a comfortable environment for residents. Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and report any changes in health status. Supervise and support caregiving staff during shifts. Order, store, and assist with medications as per facility policies. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with caregiving preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Tuberculosis (TB) certificate, First Aid, and CPR certifications. Clear criminal background check and fingerprint clearance. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally. Potential exposure to blood/bodily fluids.
