Job Responsibilities - Personalized Treatment Development: Assess patients' needs and design individualized therapy plans to assist them in meeting their functional objectives.
- Deliver Therapeutic Interventions: Employ evidence-based methodologies to support improvements in patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work seamlessly with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide cohesive, comprehensive care.
- Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their caregivers on therapy techniques that promote continued progress beyond clinical settings.
- Monitor Patient Progress: Keep track of clinical outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment strategies, ensuring each patient's journey is on track.
Education Requirements - Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and fully supported.
Required Certifications - Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- NBCOT certification is mandatory.
