As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic Pizza Cook to assist in the daily operations of our restaurant.

Job Summary:

The Pizza Cook is responsible for making pizzas, salads and starters. This role requires experience with duties such as inventory rotation, food preparation, cleanliness, customer service and teamwork . This position works closely with the front-of-house team to ensure all orders are consistently correct and that we are always exceeding guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Rotation
  • Ensure proper rotation of inventory, including food, supplies, and equipment
  • Ensure the kitchen is adequately stocked and waste is minimized
• Food Preparation
  • Prepare and present dishes following all recipes and presentation standards
  • Ensure all prep lists are completed in a timely manner
• Cleanliness
  • Maintain an organized and clean environment
  • Follow all cleaning procedures, schedules, and checklists
  • Maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring that it is in good working order and report any deficiencies promptly
  • Follow appropriate food handling procedures and standards
• Customer Service
  • Greet guests with enthusiasm and provide exceptional hospitality
  • Go above and beyond to resolve guest issues
• Teamwork
  • Collaborate with coworkers to provide a best-in-class experience for our guests
  • Help to achieve the goal of being every guest’s “Favorite Neighborhood Pizza Shop”

Qualifications:

• Friendly and outgoing attitude
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Availability on weekends and holidays
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practices
• Ability to take direction
• Good communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Prior pizza experience
• Experience with KDS (kitchen display system)
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
