To prepare and cook food products as specified by the shift leader while adhering to the specifications and procedures for Sid's Pizza. Accomplishes tasks in a timely, clean and orderly manner. Position Functions
• Checks all equipment and immediately reports any malfunctions within the area to the shift leader.
• Filters and cleans all fryers at the designated times while following all guidelines of safety (including use of provided safety equipment).
• Prepares and cooks all food product as dictated by the needs of the business and at the direction of the shift leader.
• Ensures that all food product meets the specifications, procedures and quality standards at stated in the kitchen operating manual, including strict observance of designated holding times.
• Maintains a clean work area by practicing “clean-as-you-go” practices while following all of the guidelines/procedures of sanitation and food safety.
• Observes the safe work practices that have been established and immediately reports all incidents, accidents and unsafe conditions to management. Has regard for safety for self and others, including fellow team members and customers.
• Verifies all necessary product and supplies are stocked and available at the production area.
• Maintains organization and cleanliness of the cooler.
• Dresses according to Uniform policy, including following personal hygiene guidelines.
• Demonstrates teamwork by helping others when they need it without having to be asked, coaches and supports other team members.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures.
• Rotates food products on oldest date first basis and keeps product stocked as required.
• Perform all other tasks as assigned by the shift leader.

Position Requirements:
• Continuously stand and/or walk on hard floors to prepare and cook food, get stock items, and transport items to/from the kitchen, stock room, food prep area and front lines for periods of up to eight hours.
• Must be able to work and succeed in a fast-paced work environment.
• Report to work timely for each scheduled shift.
• Frequently lift and stack 35 to 55 pounds of food and supply items from various heights from and onto shelving, in freezers, coolers, stockroom, etc.
• Communicate with and listen to customers, management and other team members to ensure optimal performance.
• Be aware of surroundings and locations of items needed, as well as to perform job duties.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; at least 6 months of experience in similar position.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
