Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating foot and ankle conditions through physical exams, medical histories, x-rays, and lab tests. Performing foot and ankle surgeries within scope, treating sports injuries, fractures, diabetic foot issues, and wounds. Prescribing medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, and providing patient education on foot care and wellness. Administering medications and local anesthetics, reviewing medical histories, ordering additional tests, and referring patients to specialists when needed. Maintaining accurate records in EHR. Skills required include prior podiatry experience, knowledge of both therapeutic and surgical treatments, familiarity with genetic abnormalities and deformities, excellent communication skills, and up-to-date technology knowledge. Applicants must hold a DPM license for Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island, be able to commute or relocate to Franklin, MA, and work in person. Benefits include health and malpractice insurance, paid time off, with a day shift Monday to Friday schedule.
