Our aerospace client is looking for a Principal Systems Engineer with Active Interim Secret Clearance to support the GPI program’s SEIT Technical Execution Lead Engineer to define the environmental requirements. Location: Chandler, AZ 85286 (Onsite)

Pay Rate: $56.72/hr. - $75.16/hr. on W2 (DOE)
Duration: 24 months or longer
Schedule: 9x80 A
Shift: 1st Shift
TRAVEL: 10% of the Time RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Support the GPI program’s SEIT Technical Execution Lead Engineer to define the environmental requirements. (Environments RSE). This position will serve on-site in Chandler, AZ.
-Responsible for working under general direction for the SEIT Technical Execution Lead to define the environmental requirements and ensure traceability from Level 4 down to Level 6 within the specification tree.
-Responsible for frequent interorganizational interactions to carry requirements through the design.
-Responsible for collaboration with senior systems engineers and other disciplines to support the development of the NGI deliverables. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
-US Citizenship is required.
-Active Interim Secret DoD security clearance, or higher – Most work is performed in a closed area.
-Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with 5 years of related engineering experience; or a Master’s degree in STEM with 3 years of related engineering experience, or a PhD in STEM with no experience.
-Solid foundational understanding of Systems Engineering.
-General understanding of all design disciplines.
-Demonstrated experience in requirements development and decomposition, validation and verification.
-Demonstrated experience in requirements traceability.
-DOORS or other requirements Management Experience.
-Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and nontechnical personnel. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-Systems Engineering experience
-Requirement decomposition, functional flow diagrams, Use case analysis
-Experience working fast paced development programs
-Sysml or Cameo Experience
