Procurement
Our client, a manufacturer of fine woodwork is seeking their Procurement / Buyer. If you are a detail-oriented, proactive problem solver with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, we would
like to speak to you about joining the team as a Procurement / Buyer. You will play a pivotal role in our procurement process, managing the ordering and reordering of raw materials and components, including over 4000 unique items.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the ordering and reordering of a diverse inventory of over 4000 components.
- Manage the day-to-day purchasing activities ensuring that all incoming items are tracked,
including delivery dates, quantities, and SKUs.
- Effectively process information from various sources, making informed decisions and
adjustments based on availability, delays, and changing circumstances.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align purchasing activities with production
needs and company objectives.
- Proactively identify and address issues related to delayed deliveries or shortages, devising
creative solutions to maintain production flow.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and circumstances while maintaining a high level of efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Ability to manage time-sensitive purchases and maintain detailed records
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational aptitude
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and creative approach to challenges
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role is preferred

Location: Newark, NJ
Experience- 4 t0 6 years relevant experience.

Salary Range: 70k-80k plus all benefits and potential bonus
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 70,000.00 80,000.00 Per Year
