Position Summary: As a Quality Improvement Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in managing initiatives to secure and uphold our certifications of excellence in Heart Failure and Stroke care. You will spearhead Quality Improvement efforts, focusing on data collection and reporting for Disease Specific Certifications and Accreditations. Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate all activities and metrics related to disease-specific care for Heart Failure and Stroke. Collect, enter, analyze, and present Quality Improvement data across various measures including Core measures and patient complaints. Ensure hospital-wide compliance with accreditation standards specific to each certification. Lead performance improvement teams focusing on disease-related care. Provide education and act as a resource for hospital staff and leadership regarding disease-specific care. Manage accreditation survey preparations and initiatives. Deliver quality orientation to new staff members. Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds to enhance patient care delivery. Utilize problem-solving skills to improve processes for enhanced patient care. Lead community outreach initiatives focused on disease-specific health education. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree is required. License: Must be a Registered Nurse in North Carolina (or a compact state). Certification: Heart Failure Nurse Certification is preferred.
