Salary: $17-20 / hour

Job Description: SteadPoint is looking for an outgoing individual who is detail oriented, works well in a team environment, and leads with the question, “What more can I do for you?”. This individual will have a true host/hostess mentality, has a customer-focused mindset and is eager to grow within a fast-paced company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Host/Hostess: As the Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for SteadPoint. You will greet customers, vendors, and guests into the SteadPoint office, welcoming the visitors in a friendly and professional manner, directing them appropriately, and giving them a positive and impressive first impression.
  • Assist in Maintaining Security: Coordinate with the John Hand Building receptionist to ensure the communication is clear regarding visitors, orders, process, and procedures.
  • Mail Management: Open and distribute all incoming mail, ensuring the task is completed in a timely manner. Processing and handling all outgoing mail, including certified mail and overnight packages.
  • Managing Meeting Rooms: Responsible for keeping the meeting room calendar up to date and preparing/maintaining the meeting room space, always ensuring a clean and impressive presentation. Responsible for preparing conference equipment for conference calls and virtual meetings.
  • Supporting Documentation: Scan, upload, and save all receipts and supporting documentation in QuickBooks. Scanning and filing documents in the appropriate folders.
  • Coordinate Office Activities: Assist in planning and coordinating office activities for a smooth and seamless experience. Examples would include ordering and setting up lunch, coordinating happy hours, and preparing for important employee and guest visits.
  • Office Cleanliness: Maintain neat and clean communal office areas such as reception, breakrooms, and conference rooms. 
  • Administrative Task: Assist with administrative tasks as need to support office staff. Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate department. 

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly with customers, vendors, and employees.
  • Interpersonal skills to create a pleasant experience for all employees and visitors, such as being personable and attentive.
  • Organization skills to keep accurate records and find important information quickly.
  • Time management skills to prioritize and complete a variety of tasks throughout the day.
  • 1-3 years of Host/Hostess/Receptionist experience preferred.
  • Notary Public preferred. Requesting the employee become a notary within the first 60 days of employment. All notary fees will be reimbursed/sponsored by the company.
