About the opportunity:

Jerry is building an AllCar™ super app to radically simplify all aspects of car ownership. In late 2022, we were one of the first companies to develop on top of OpenAI’s ChatGPT. In April of 2023, we launched our first LLM-powered chatbot that could answer the 200,000+ messages we get from our customers each month via Chat and SMS. Our multi-modal chatbot is able to respond to 93% of all incoming SMS and in-app chat requests without human intervention, with an average response time of 15-20 seconds. We also launched a voicebot for inbound phone calls that went live in production in early 2024. 

After the overwhelming success of our chatbot/voicebot technology, we decided to invest in Propelix as a B2B GenAI prompt engineering platform provider to allow other companies to leverage our highly customizable AI-based virtual agent framework to help scale their business. Propelix.ai is to Jerry what AWS is to Amazon: a valuable core technology that we are making available to other companies because we believe it can be a very valuable business for us. We are looking for a Research Associate (Chatbot/Voicebot) with a knack for research to build and refine prompts for our network of AI bots to improve our customers’ ability to self-serve and accelerate key automation initiatives.

Requirements:

• Research ability: you have proven track record in conducting and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative research

• Critical thinking: you can objectively analyze and evaluate findings to influence decisions

• Communication: you can distinguish and evaluate language precision, tone, and clarity through both written and verbal communication 

• Achievement-oriented: you set a very high bar for yourself and are constantly pushing that bar higher in your pursuit of excellence

Ideal profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in a research-intensive discipline (e.g. computational linguistics, cognitive science, engineering, artificial intelligence, computer science, etc.)

• Passion for and interest in large language models (LLMs) as well as their practical and commercial applications
