Job Description
We're seeking a dynamic Reservoir Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will provide essential support to our Eagle Ford Development team, engaging in activities such as prospect generation, development planning, economic evaluations, flowback management, production forecasting, and reserves estimation. Your collaboration with various teams—Finance, Geoscience, Wells, Operations, and Midstream—will be crucial in driving value and achieving key business objectives within our multi-rig drilling program.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain reservoir development plans, working closely with the Geoscience team to optimize well placement and suggest interventions to enhance field value.
Implement effective reservoir and well surveillance to evaluate performance, estimate hydrocarbons, and optimize development strategies.
Partner with Wells teams to refine well design and boost overall value.
Assess the economics and profitability of potential projects, and recommend the best projects for execution.
Drive the initial flowback strategy for new wells to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Lead production forecasting and economic evaluation to manage in-year production performance.
Conduct post-well reviews with Wells, Geoscience, and Operations teams to analyze well performance and apply insights to future projects.
Contribute innovative ideas to the development pipeline and advance them to executable status.
Assist the Corporate Reserves team with resource and reserve estimation.
Collaborate with partners to align on strategic development strategies.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
At least 4 years of experience in unconventional reservoir engineering.
Proficiency in Aries, Whitson, and MS Office.
Experience with data visualization and analytical tools like PowerBI or Spotfire.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to manage complex datasets.
A proven team player with a collaborative spirit.
Experience in reservoir modeling (preferably with CMG).

Salary Range: $121,000 - $163,000 (Base)
Please note that this range is an estimate and may vary based on experience and qualifications.
